In keeping with Ministry of Education Policies around daily physical activity and school district initiatives towards sustainable environmental practices you are asked not to drop off students on school grounds. The front driveway features a fire lane and, in keeping with directives from the Delta Fire Department, is a no-car zone. If you live further than a 20 minute walk of Burnsview, please drop off your students at an active walking distance from the school. Carbon dioxide is the greatest contributor to global warming and we are doing our part to reduce emissions. If a student is transporting hockey equipment or an equivalent load, we understand the need to get close to the door, but not the need to idle. Thank you.
