APPLICATION FORM - 2024/2025 This is NOT a Registration Form

This is an Application Form for parents who wish to enrol their child in Early French Immersion in Kindergarten.

A child is eligible to attend French Immersion Kindergarten in September, if his/her fifth (5th) birthday occurs on or before December 31st of the Kindergarten attendance year. Please complete one application per child. Even if you already have a sibling in the French Immersion Program, you must complete and submit an application form before the deadline.

Applications received before the deadline will be placed in a draw if there are more applicants than spaces available following the guidelines as described in the list of French Immersion Priorities. However, applications received after the deadline, will be considered, space permitting, in the order in which they are received. The French Immersion Priorities do not apply for late applications as those are dealt with by time and date stamp at the time at which the application is submitted. The applications first received after the deadline will be the first to be placed in an Early French Immersion Kindergarten class if there is still space available after the on-time applications have been placed.

École Devon Gardens Elementary (DG) – if students live in the attendance area for: Annieville, Brooke, Devon Gardens, Gibson or Hellings Elementary Schools.
École Richardson Elementary (RI) – if students live in the attendance area for: Chalmers, Gray, Jarvis, McCloskey or Richardson Elementary Schools.
École Sunshine Hills Elementary (SH) – if students live in the attendance area for: Sunshine Hills, Pinewood, Cougar Canyon or Heath Elementary Schools.
École Ladner Elementary (LE) – if students live in the attendance area for: Hawthorne, Holly, Ladner, Port Guichon or Neilson Grove Elementary Schools.
École South Park Elementary (SP) – if students live in the attendance area for: Beach Grove, Cliff Drive, English Bluff, Pebble Hill or South Park Elementary Schools.

School Preferences

Due to Delta's French Immersion program popularity and limited space, we are unable to guarantee that your child will be accepted in their French Immersion attendance area school; therefore, please rank, by order of preference, ALL French Immersion schools including your own French Immersion attendance area school below.
