Late French Immersion - Delta School District

This is an application form for parents who wish to enroll their child in the Late Immersion program, a program designed for students who have never been in a French program, other than Core French. Please indicate below whether or not your child has attended a French program in the past.

Late French Immersion is available to a child eligible for Grade 6 in September of the year of application. Successful applicants will be informed how the registration process will proceed. Even if you have a child already in the French Immersion Program, you must still complete and submit an application form before the deadline. The information on this form will be used to assign students to either Chalmers Elementary School for students living in North Delta or Cliff Drive Elementary School for students living in South Delta, and to select students should the number of applications received exceed space available.

Due to Delta's French Immersion program popularity, we are unable to guarantee that your child will be accepted in their Late French Immersion catchment school; therefore, please rank, by order of preference, BOTH Late French Immersion schools.

Applications received after application deadline will be accepted and will be considered, space permitting, in the order in which they are received, following the guidelines as described in the list of French Immersion Priorities.

Registration will take place at the school at a later date, after you have been notified of the status of your application.
