Val Windsor is a retired teacher whose involvement in public education spans more than 50 years. She is also a past President of the Delta Teachers’ Association, former BC Teachers Federation Executive member and has served as a school trustee since 2011. Her work as a trustee includes serving on the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Reconciliation Committee and the Inclusive Learning Advisory Committee, and she continues to serve on the Metro Vancouver English Language Learners Consortium, a group that advocates for services for immigrant and refugee students and English language learners. His work as a trustee since being elected to the Board in 2022 includes serving on the BC School Trustees Association (BCSTA) Provincial Council, being a member of the Delta Council/Delta Board of Education Liaison Committee and chairing the school district’s Audit Committee.
