On March 2nd Delta had 27 secondary students from 4 schools compete across 9 different areas at the Skills BC Regional at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Our amazing students brought home 7 bronze, 3 silver, and 6 gold medals!
Delta School District’s GOLD MEDAL WINNERS are headed to the Provincial competition tomorrow at the Tradex in Abbotsford!
Also competing, are students in Baking & Pastry Arts.
Winners from this Provincial level move on to the Nationals in Edmonton in June, and from there the Worlds in Russia 2019.
Competitions run throughout the day with different start and end times and lengths. If you can make it out that way to cheer them on please do so, as this is one of the highlights of the year.
