It’s been more than eight months since the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Since then, we’ve been surrounded by negative media coverage, cautionary tales and restrictions to our daily activities. We think our students, staff and families could all benefit from some positivity during these challenging times.
As a result, over the coming weeks, the school district will be sharing some brief suggestions, tips and activities through school newsletters and the district’s website and social media channels to help promote feelings of warmth, joy and gratitude.
With today being World Kindness Day, we thought you might enjoy reading this short article on kindness.
Please note: If stress or anxiety is interfering with your school, work or interpersonal relationships, we encourage you to reach out to someone who can help – whether that’s a school counsellor, colleague or mental health professional.
