From December 1st to 18th, Gray Elementary students came together for a cause that truly matters—its annual Canned Food Drive. This year, the food drive supported Nick’s Nook.
With a target of 1,200 items, the students and staff didn’t just meet expectations… they shattered them!
They collected 4,314 items! That’s more than three times the original goal. What an incredible show of generosity, teamwork, and community spirit!
To honor this amazing achievement, students earned themselves an extra recess. And the top performing classes, Ms. Olak’s (primary) and Mr. Chhun’s (intermediate) scored a delicious pizza party in the New Year.
A huge round of applause to all the students, staff, and families who contributed—thank you for making this year’s food drive a resounding success. Your kindness will make a real difference for families in need this season.
