Read the follow up article in the North Delta Reporter to see how much was collected on October 16.
On Thursday, October 16, Delview Secondary students will be knocking on doors across North Delta to collect non-perishable items for the school’s annual one-night food drive supporting families in the community.
Since 1992, Delview’s Thanks 4 Giving (T4G) has been the largest one-night canned food drive in the province. It has consistently collected thousands of non-perishable food items, as well as cash donations, to support Deltassist and the Surrey Food Bank. Last year, students’ final tally was 18,668 non-perishable food items, bringing the total tally over the years to more than 466,500!
Look out for students canvassing the community for non-perishable food items between 6p.m. – 8:30p.m. on October 16. You may also leave items on the doorstep in a bag marked ‘T4G’ or drop them off at the school at 9111 116th Street, Delta. Delview is hosting a one-night drive thru drop-off. Stations will be set up in the parking lot to make it easy for you to unload your canned items and cash donations.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school at 604-594-5491.
The demand on Food Banks is greater than ever, so please help us to ensure that Delta and Surrey residents have access to essential food and supplies. Thanks for your continued support!
