Summer School Registration

Given the current COVID 19 environment, please know that we will be offering ALL summer courses remotely.

 Please note:

  • There are no fees for the Summer Learning Program 2020.
  • Students require a home computer to be available at the times designated for their particular course(s).
  • Students are required to attend ONLINE every day
  • If you are registering for a Summer Course and already have a computer on loan, please notify your school administrator of your desire to continue the loan. You will then be asked to sign a new Loan Agreement.
  • If you do not have a computer but are in need of one for a Summer Course AND you are a current Delta SD 37 student, please contact cleary@deltasd.bc.ca

These courses will run from July 2 to August 6

STUDENTS: Before you register, NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

  • International students must register with the International Department
  • You require a computer at home
  • You must be a registered Delta student with a Student ID number
  • There is a lot of content to cover in a short period of time so assignments MUST be handed in on time.
  • This is not a “Work at Your Own Pace” course.
  • You will be expected to meet online with your teacher occasionally.
  • Your teacher will be connecting with you DAILY and your participation is mandatory
  • Depending on any updated Provincial Guidelines, students may be provided a limited opportunity for Face to Face tutorials.

Below are the courses we will offer. They are open to Delta School District students ONLY and are available to students who are:

  1. currently in grade 12 and need a course(s) to graduate
  2. currently in grade 9, 10 or 11
  3. A non-graduated adult who has attended a Delta school in the past

Grade 1 – 7 Enrichment ONLINE Program

These courses will run from July 6 to July 24

This session is available to Delta Students ONLY who are currently in Kindergarten to Grade Six.

The focus will be on:

  • Grades 1 – 7 Literacy and Numeracy Skills: reading, writing and mathematics

Students will need:

  • A home computer available to them daily, 9.00 am to 11.40 am from July 6 – 24
  • Google Classroom set up on their computer (this is the platform most teachers will be using to give students assignments and feedback)
