High School Completion

It’s never too late to graduate!

Delta Community College offers several ways for adults to successfully complete high school:

Adult Graduation Diploma

  • Tuition-free
  • The program consists of 20 credits or 5 courses
  • Must be 18-years-old or older and not enrolled in a high school as of September 30

2023 Graduation Program

  • Tuition-free
  • The program consists of 80 credits for high school students graduation after June 30, 2018

Registration Fees

NEWLY ANNOUNCED TUITION-FREE COURSES!!

Whether you have graduated or not, the Ministry of Education has announced that all courses on this list here are tuition-free. We no longer require $550 payment for students who have already graduated.

All Canadian and Permanent Residents who are residing in BC can take tuition free academic courses as part of the Ministry of Education’s Education Guarantee. Students must show proof of status in Canada and proof of residency in British Columbia. Students under 19 years of age must also provide parent proof of status in Canada and residency in British Columbia. A $100.00 refundable textbook deposit will be required.

Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents:
Free!  $100.00 refundable textbook deposit if you need to borrow one.

International Students taking High School Completion courses: $800.00 course fee.

Day School Students
All Delta School District dayschool students must present a CE 1234 form completed by their Counsellor before they can register.

Prerequisites
Students must present proof of prerequisite learning when registering for High School Completion courses such as a high school transcript or be prepared to write an assessment.

Course Transfer/Withdrawal
Each change to the original registration will be subject to a $40.00 processing fee which will be deducted from the textbook deposit.

Transcripts
All transcript requests should be made through the office of your high school.  Adult students who have taken courses with Continuing Education should contact the Continuing Education office at 604-940-5550.  One copy will be $10.00.
