Emergency Preparedness Week – Be Ready For Anything

Category: DistrictSchool

This year, the theme for Emergency Preparedness Week (May 2 – 8) is “Be Ready for Anything”.

While the current global health crisis created by COVID-19 has had an unprecedented impact, Emergency Preparedness Week is a reminder to us all to take actions to be better prepared to protect ourselves, individuals in our care and our families.

Now more than ever, we understand that emergency preparedness is a shared responsibility and that we are all in this together.

Our schools often receive questions about school emergency procedures. Below is an image which explains the difference between Lockdown, Hold and Secure, Shelter in Place etc.
