Life Skills And Social Groups
Delta Continuing Education is funded by the Ministry of Children & Family Development and Community Living BC to provide skilled staff to work one-to-one and in group settings with special needs children and adults. Life skills workers support the individual goals of participants in the program related to the development of community awareness and recreation skills, social skills, and life skills. Referrals for the program can be requested through either your Ministry for Children and Family Development Social Worker (for children’s services) or a Community Living Facilitator (for adult services).
Autism Intervention Program
Delta Continuing Education provides Behaviour Interventionists to work with children diagnosed with ASD by contracting directly with families who wish to use their Autism funding. Our staff will work with you and/or your team to facilitate the goals of your behaviour support plan.
