The North Delta Theatre is available for rent by community user groups on weekends, holidays and in the evening on school days. A student technician must be hired for all theatre rentals. The cost of the technician is $25 an hour. The student(s) will assist with the basic sound and lighting requirements of the user group.
The North Delta Secondary Theatre has full stage lights and four separate colours on the cyclorama consisting of yellow, blue, red and green. The lights can be used separately or blended together to form new colours. The theatre has a great sound system, which includes a CD and tape player.
The theatre also has two washrooms/dressing rooms backstage. The theatre does not supply walkie-talkie headsets to renters and there are two microphones included in the rental.
The saleable seating capacity of the theatre is 650. The school cafeteria may also be rented. The culinary students may be available for catering & banquets. If the kitchen is required, there is a $25/hr charge for a kitchen supervisor and a separate custodial charge for cleaning will apply. All health permits must be obtained and kitchen personnel are required to have their Food Safe Certificate.
