Applying to ArtStretch means that you are passionate about Art. Use the space provided here to tell us why you want to join ArtStretch.

Artwork Submission #1: Create a piece of art showing what "Hope" means to you. See tips below. Once complete, take pictures of the art piece and submit at this link.

TIPS 1. Use the medium of your choice (i.e.: painting, sculpture, etc). 2. You can choose to include or not include the word "hope" in the artwork. 3. This year, we are NOT able to accept the physical artwork. Instead, we are asking for photographs of the work. 4. TIP: It is best to photograph outside on a cloudy day to get the best possible light. If your piece is 3-D, you may submit up to 3 photos to show it from multiple angles. * If the attachment does not work for you, email the pictures to stretch@deltaschools.ca

Include 3 (only) additional photographed samples of your artwork that demonstrate your passion for art over time (you may date the work). These are usually relatively small pieces. Students will often include a photo of: a page in a visual journal or sketchbook, photos samples of artwork.

Thank you for taking the initiative for applying to a Stretch program. While we are not able to offer spaces for all applicants, this is primarily due to the high volume of applications. Most applications are of very strong quality so no matter what the result is of your application, please do continue pursuing your passions and looking for opportunities to learn more. This year, final results of the application will be sent to formal parent/guardian email #1 on file. We anticipate doing so during the first week of July.
