Recently, graduates of the Early Childhood Education Program and the Delta Teaching Assistant Certificate program celebrated the completion of their respective programs.

The 60 graduates of the Delta Teaching Assistant Certificate program celebrated the completion of their classroom instruction and practicum experience preparing them to work as education assistants, where they will provide support to K-12 students with special physical, behavioural, or learning needs. The graduates were addressed by cohort representatives, Kelly Cook, Jennifer Graveness, Kimberlee Wood, and Bryan Whittaker.

Through classroom and practicum training, the E.C.E. Basic Certificate program prepares students to work with young children in licensed child care settings. Additional Post-Basic studies and practicums lead to specializations in Special Needs or Infant/Toddler care.
