SDSS Student Taylin McGill Helps Raise $20mil for Children’s Hospital 2017

South Delta Secondary student, Taylin McGill, was a guest presenter at the Children’s Miracle Network this weekend in her role as the Champion Child for Children’s Hospital 2017. The annual weekend fundraiser raised over $20 million!

In October 2016, Taylin was announced as the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Network Champion Child ambassador for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. As BC’s representative in the Champions program, Taylin will share her inspiring story of dealing with salmonella bacterial meningitis at just 10 days old and living through years of treatment and rehabilitation. She will serve as an ambassador for BC Children’s Hospital, representing the more than 85,000 children treated at the hospital each year.
