Congrats to Delta’s students who won top honours at the Rotary 2018 The Debaters Competition for Grade 11 & 12 Students.
In the finals (Two Seaquam students Abhay Sachal and Abnash Bassi had a ‘debate’ against each other) Here are the results:
1st Place Abhay Sachal (Grade 11 Seaquam) $3500
2nd Place Abnash Bassi (Grade 11 Seaquam) $3000
4th Place Manvi Ansal (Grade 12 Seaquam)
Participation
All current Grade 11 and 12 students in Canada and USA are able to participate. The event helps to improve public speaking, leadership and critical thinking skills.
