Superman Visits Richardson Elementary on Quest to Give Back

This week, an unexpected visitor surprised students at Richardson Elementary.

Superman (aka Sean Bindra) stopped by the Kindergarten to Grade 3 classes and brought with him some educational toys as a gift, saying that it was Superman’s birthday and he wanted to share his day with the students.

Bindra, stopped by the school as part of a larger initiative he has created called “We can all be Super Heroes”, which encourages others to give back to their communities.

“To celebrate my birthday, I have chosen to organize this initiative because I feel it is the best birthday gift I can receive,” says Bindra. “The best gift anyone can receive is the gift of happiness you feel from making someone else smile. I wish to spread this message across our community.”

After visiting the students at Richardson, Bindra—still dressed as Superman—visited a local seniors centre, BC Children’s Hospital, and the Canadian Mental Health Association, where he made donations to both the organizations.
